Think of all the things they have to keep under control: the green and red lights, who has the right of way, managing the flow of pedestrians, facilitating the regular loading and unloading of goods. All of this, of course, while avoiding traffic jams and preventing accidents.

Got it? Well: the Site Manager at Guffanti is exactly that kind of figure.

If we told you that they are the 'general coordinator of the activities on a construction site,' it wouldn’t be wrong, but we probably wouldn’t be saying everything there is to say about this role. Because here, the Site Manager is the person who not only coordinates the other professionals working on the project, not only oversees all the technical aspects of that project, but is also the one who ensures that every project commissioned to Guffanti has the quality that distinguishes us in the market.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE

This is why for such strategic profiles we are looking for people who possess:
● a diploma as a surveyor or building expert
● or a degree in civil engineering

The delicacy of the activities, and the fact that the levels of safety, effectiveness, and quality of the projects bearing the Guffanti signature depend on this role, also require:

● good planning and activity organization skills
● time management
● strong results orientation
● leadership ability
● complex problem solving
● communication skills

WHAT THE CONTRACT PROVIDES

We evaluate the level of integration into the company based on the seniority and skills of the candidates. Having already gained a few years in a similar role is certainly a plus in our eyes.

But we believe that previous experience in the sector is not a binding factor.

For this reason, we are willing to consider less experienced profiles as well, to be integrated into the company through internship contracts or apprenticeship contracts. In this case, a period of training and mentoring with more experienced colleagues will be essential to step into the role. Your determination will be just as necessary. Without it, there would not be the necessary foundations to continue any type of path together. And we know a thing or two about foundations.

WHERE YOU WILL WORK

Given the strategic role and coordination between all the figures involved on site, this role clearly spends most of its time where the construction site is located.

In our case, this mainly means in that part of Italy that extends from the area north of Milan to the Swiss border.
